The difference
Good work looks good on day one. Great work still does in year fifteen.
Most of what separates the two is work you'll never see: a flat, solid substrate, proper waterproofing, the right setting material for the stone, framing that's square before anything gets fastened to it. The rest is patience, like scribing a tile to a curve by hand or choosing each stone for the course it sits in.
Eddie has spent twenty-five years learning those details and eight years building Burk Custom around them. When you call, you talk to the person responsible for your job. You get straight answers on cost and schedule, a clean job site, and a final walkthrough together before anything gets called done.

The detail is the job
This floor didn't come out of a box.
Every travertine tile along that edge was cut by hand to follow one continuous, flowing line. Then the river rock was set, stone by stone, to meet it.
It's slower work. It's also the part people stop and look at every time they walk into the room, and that's the kind of work Burk Custom is built on.
